Prof. Enrica Garzilli is an internationally recognised academic, award-winning author, Harvard Lecturer, researcher, founding Editor-in-Chief and mindfulness teacher. She combines decades of international academic experience with evidence-based mindfulness, emotional intelligence and intercultural communication.

At the Institute of Customer Management, Prof. Garzilli delivers programmes in mindfulness, emotional intelligence and corporate wellbeing, integrating evidence-based practice with intercultural communication to strengthen focus, resilience and workplace performance.

Academic Background

  • Prof. Garzilli's academic background spans history, Asian studies, international relations and intercultural studies. She was a Lecturer at Harvard University, a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School, a competitively appointed Senior Fellow at the Harvard Center for the Study of World Religions, and a Research Affiliate at the University of Delhi following an appointment by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She holds a degree in Arts and Humanities, the Italian National Scientific Qualification, and postgraduate master's degrees in Computer Science for the Humanities and Teaching History to Foreign Learners. She was Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Oriental Series – Opera Minora and Editor-in-Chief of two award-winning peer-reviewed academic journals, with more than 25 years of editorial leadership.

Her professional experience includes scholarly publishing, press and media relations, policy-related projects and intercultural collaboration. She has served as an expert and representative on European Commission projects, published extensively as an author, editor and researcher, and organised, chaired and contributed to international conferences.

More recently, Prof. Garzilli has also contributed to selected artificial intelligence projects.
